The transition from laptop to computer though hasn't been the reason we've stopped blogging practically for January. As the blog title indicates, we have been 'F.I.N.E' latey (freaked out, insecure, neurotic, and emotional. (Can any name the movie reference??) I hardly will ever say this but STRESS is consuming our lives right now!
Here's a run-down of this past week for you, in case you're interested:
Monday: The only reasonable day of the week, we both worked 8-4:30'ish. Justin did homework in the evening and I honestly can't remember what I did.
Tuesday: Work again. Justin heads up to SLC for class after work, I head down to Pinnacle for workout with trainer. Justin calls after work, the stress begins to mound as I hear the dreaded sentence, "We've been asked to give a talk this Sunday in church." Justin gets home from class at 10:30, we crash.
Wednesday: Work again. (Mind you pressure/stress at work is mounding as I have only a few days left to get my coaching done for 15+ agents). I go to the gym after work, Justin goes to class again. After the gym I do church calling-related things, meetings etc from 6-9:30. Justin gets home at 10:20, I've been up brainstorming talk ideas.
Thursday: After work I have to work out with the trainer again until 6pm. Justin plays a ball game until 7:15pm. I meet with RS president at 6:30-8:00'ish.
Friday: Woke early, prepared most of talk. Had day off because I work Saturday, got to play with Heather!! After work Justin and I grab a very quick bite to eat then continue on our talks.
Saturday: Justin has class 8am-12pm. I work 9-3pm. After these we continue working on our talks then go to the temple in the evening.
Sunday: I go to church at 11am (church starts at 1pm) to do calling-related things. We give our talks in Sacrament.
We thought the stress & life in warp speed was over after church today. But sadly enough it does not appear to be diminishing for at least another week. I am already getting a headache thinking about everything there is to be done this week. I need to have a day, at least half a day, to clean my house and prepare for the upcoming week or anything else I need to do. The worst part is knowing that this stress is continual for Justin. He consistently has the same amount of work and homework each week and that is stressful enough, without throwing in a lot of x-factors. I want a date night! We haven't been able to spend quality time together since Christmas and that is so hard! Our schedule might not seem that hectic compared to what some of you face and all I can say is my hat is 100% off to you! I don't know how others can do such a full schedule all the time. The only thing that I see as an unnecessary 'optional' activity is working out so many times each week. BUT I just started and really wanted to try and get in better shape. So while that might seem like the most reasonable activity to drop from the 'to-do' list, I so can't drop it! I definitely feel like I am only able to keep going right now because of the countless prayers I've have answered by Heavenly Father and those around me. Thank you to those who have helped me with many of these activities/assignments and made the load more bearable! That is all for now...hopefully the next time I post things will be much better.
Here is something that is keeping me going though:
Countdown to till we go snorkeling here: 8 weeks & 4 days. OR 60 days!
